Do you know an outstanding volunteer from the University of Guelph? Nominations are open for the 2012 Dr. William Winegard Exemplary Volunteer Involvement Awards, which recognize members of the university community who volunteer in Guelph and Wellington County.

The Wellington County Volunteer Appreciation Awards

The County of Wellington Volunteer Appreciation Awards recognizes and honours dedicated volunteers who give freely of their time to contribute to the growth of local community benefit organizations in Wellington County. The recipients of these awards demonstrate generosity of time and inspire others to make a difference in our community, making Wellington County a more enjoyable place to live, work and play.

The Volunteer Centre of Guelph/Wellington is a membership-based organization. We offer a variety or services to registered nonprofit or charitable organizations and their affiliated programs or community groups as well as employers who wish to establish or strengthen an employer-supported volunteering program at their organization.
